Somerville Domestic Junior Slam

After the postponement of our winter Junior Slam, Somerville Recreation Centre are excited to open team registrations for the upcoming September school holidays!

Somerville Domestic Junior Slam is a basketball tournament for domestic players born between 2013 and 2018. Our Junior Slam gives domestic players the opportunity to experience the fun & excitement of a basketball tournament environment, while competing against players of the same ability.

Monday 23 September

• Under 8 Girls & Mixed A/B/C/D Grade (born 2017 & 2018)
• Under 10 Girls A/B/C/D Grade (born 2015 & 2016)
• Under 12 Girls A/B/C/D Grade (born 2013 & 2014)
• Under 12 Boys A/B/C/D Grade (born 2013 & 2014)

Wednesday 25 September

• Under 8 Boys A/B/C/D Grade (born 2017 & 2018)
• Under 10 Boys A/B/C/D Grade (born 2015 & 2016)

Entry Fees

$175 per team. Payable upon confirmation of registration.

Junior Slam Information:

• Players must be registered with a domestic association and not be a current representative player.
• Games will consist of 10 minute halves with a 2 minute half time break.
• There will be a 30-minute break period between games.
• Each team will play 3 regular games and a finals game (4 games in total).
• WPBA domestic rules will apply, they can be read here. 

Team registrations close Friday 13 September at 5pm.
